This year the Junior Classic tournament is being played on 2/3/4 May 2008 at Rakhoi, Tweespruit in the Free State.

The Western Cape area will accommodate as many juniors as possible in four invitation teams this year.  Although we strive to include all our juniors in the teams, there are a lot of other factors to consider when making final team selections. Some of these include the following:

• Handicap restrictions (as per criteria)
• Availability of juniors
• Effective combinations
• Availability of spare horses (without them we simply can't play)

We therefore have to make use of juniors from other provinces as well, to ensure compliance and effectiveness in the above mentioned areas.
