Hi All, After executive meeting on Saturday these are the following criteria for all age groups regarding selection for this year 2008. - To be the holder of a South African passport.
- To be a payed up playing member of PASA.
- To qualify in terms of age and sex for that particular team according to PASA/International rules.
- Each player must showcase their ability at, at least one tournament this year and inform their provincial selector where they will be playing.
The following criteria are relevant to the age groups stipulated:
Irish Tour Venue: Matamo Dates: 11/12/13 July 2008 Under 16, Under 19 and Under 23 - Each player must have 3 horses available to them, and they must inform their respective provincial selector of their horses names.
- Squads (4 girls and 4 boys per age group) will be announced after the Junior Classic.
Zimbabwe Tour Venue: Hippo Valley Dates: 27/28/29 June 2008 Under 14 and Veterans - Squads (7 x U14)(vets no. still to be confirmed) will be announced end of March.

Please will all selectors start compiling lists from their respective provinces as we need to start thinking of short lists for each age group.I would like each selector to have names for each age group- before the Easter tournament and we will meet on the Friday eve (time to be confirmed) and again on Sunday, of the Easter tournament.
